The BTEC Nationals in Health and Social Care aim to provide learners with a nationally recognised, vocationally specific qualification for entry into employment to one of the Health and Social Care sectors or onto university to study on health and social care related degree programmes. These courses also provide students with a period of mandatory work experience/s in the Health and Social Care sector which acts as a focal point for learning and also develops a range of skills and techniques that are essential for the effective performance in the world of work and/or university.
