Students study 4 units and they will be examined on three of them. The four units are world cities; contemporary challenges and conflicts; tectonic hazards and weather and climate. This structure gives the students an element of choice in the exam.

The content paper, geog3, is 2.30 hours and geog 4b, a geographical investigation, is 90 minutes.
