The Access Level 2 course is made up of two qualifications: 1) OCNLR Level 2 Certificate and 2) GCSE in English Language and MathematicsThe course is divided into three key areas: The IT units are designed to develop the skills necessary for successful study both on the Pre-Access course and beyond. The Employability and Career Development unit is designed to encourage you to identify important factors in making career decisions and to enable you to engage effectively in the workplace. The Study Skills units are designed to develop your English and mathematics skills. Good English and maths skills are essential for success in studying and for future employment prospects and so Croydon College ensures that these skills are developed in all learning opportunities. There may be opportunities for adult students to study English and maths as part of your programme, and the level and type of qualification will be selected to suit individual need.
