This course is for you if you speak English as a second or other language. The course will help you if you have had a few years at secondary school or are have been in the UK for a short time. We offer exciting classes in lots of different subjects to help you at different levels from very little English (Pre-Entry) to Level 1 which is the highest level we offer. As well as improving your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, you will prepare to progress to either an academic or vocational course.You will also improve skills which will help you in the world of work including maths, ICT, learning how to have good relationships, and finding solutions to problems. You will have a personal tutor who will help you be successful and make sure you are prepared for your next steps in learning. You will also improve the skills you need to either get a job or improve the skills you already have such as working in a team, communication skills and researching different careers.You will have the opportunity to attend different events at the college which are attended by employers so you can find out about different career choices.
