The entry qualification to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector will now be a level 3 Award in Education and Training. Bracknell and Wokingham College offers a high quality course in this area to allow teachers to start their teaching career in a fast and cost effective manner. Two courses are scheduled each term running on a Thursday morning (9:25 to 12:25) or a Tuesday evening (6:00 to 9:00). The courses will consist of 11 three hour teaching sessions using a mixture of teaching techniques.

In addition you will probably need at least a level 3 qualification and/or significant vocational experience in the subject you are considering teaching. You do not need to be employed in a teaching role to apply for this course and most people undertake the course before securing a teaching position.
