This courses shows you what it takes to turn natural talent into a career and make dreams of performing on stage or film and television a reality. The Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) is a one year course with the qualification being equivalent to one A Level. This highly practical course has a strong emphasis on preparing you for the professional performance industry. You will participate in a variety of units all designed to enhance and develop your natural acting ability. The skills developed in these units are then applied to many public theatre performances throughout the year. The performing projects are designed to be a realistic experience of the theatre profession and will prepare you for higher education or a range of work opportunities in the industry. This course is suitable to be taken in conjunction with an AS Level qualification.
