This course is a practical, one year course that is ideal for students who have an interest in the leisure, travel and tourism industries. Through visits to actual facilities and tourism destinations, you will build up an understanding of the importance of leisure and tourism industries to society and national/local economies, the impacts of activities on the local area as well as investigating why destinations appeal to different types of tourists.
