At A2, the topics covered may be relationships, aggression, eating behaviour, gender, as well as the effect of the media on behaviour. One mental disorder is covered in depth. Students enjoy this subject because they find it relevant to their everyday life. The lessons include discussion, research into psychological aspects, and extended writing at A2. It is therefore beneficial to have an interest in both English and essay writing, and Science, where the scientific method is applied to psychological enquiry.
