A2 ICT requires students to comprehend the importance of information in large organisations and how ICT can be used to enhance it. Several types of organisations are investigated and students are encouraged to apply their knowledge and understanding to a specific context, released by the exam board in March of their final year. A final project is required of all A2 students. They must select a client and create a detailed and technically challenging solution to a complex problem. This mirrors realistic situations within the IT industry where you use your skills, knowledge and understanding of ICT to solve a problem for a client
