Product Design will develop and test your innovation and creativity as you design and make marketable products. It is a rigorous and demanding course leading to a qualification, highly regarded by UK and international universities. The Advanced Innovation Challenge examines your ability to design and model an innovative solution in a limited amount of time. It is worth 40% of the AS (20% of A2), is marked out of 80 and is divided into three sessions. The Product Study examines your ability to analyse a product, identify its weaknesses, then design and make an improved version. It is worth 60% of your AS.
