Please note: This course is for 18-24 year-olds. Will the course give me what I want? Course content The course is for young people with mild/moderate learning difficulties, aged 18-24, who would like to obtain employment. We have a Supported Employment Coordinator & Job Coach who ensures that students can access work placements, work trials and paid employment. Current and former students are encouraged to apply for one of the college's Mini Jobs-a valuable first step into paid employment. Students also benefit from the Pro Work partnership with City and Islington College and the Camden Society, who provide us with an Employment Advisor and Job Coaches. Classes in college will be based on preparing the learners for employment. Learners will have the opportunity to gain qualifications in Employability, Food Safety, Basic First Aid and Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT. Classes generally have between 7-10 students. All students participate in a weekly catering enterprise. Funds are raised for the summer residential and students take a share of the profits at the end of the year.
