Further Mathematics is a separate course which is studied alongside A Level Mathematics leading to two A Level mathematics qualifications. It is a challenging course which will suit students who enjoy mathematical problem solving. You will study extra pure mathematics modules together with a range of applied modules chosen from decision mathematics, mechanics and statistics. For someone who is a very keen mathematician. Further Mathematics provides a chance to explore more sophisticated mathematical concepts such as matrices and complex numbers that are vital in many mathematicsrich degrees such as engineering, sciences and computing, as well as mathematics itself. This is a course for those with a real flair for and interest in mathematics.
