The natural step after a Level 2 apprenticeship, The Level 3 apprenticeship in Professional Cookery will provide you with a more comprehensive learning experience in catering and cookery, where you gain on-the-job training in a setting such as a pub, restaurant, or cafe. The apprenticeship will show you how to prepare a variety of complex meals and recipes, from cocktails and canapes to sauces and pastries, further preparing you for a career in the culinary industry. You will also pick up various kitchen and cooking etiquette and expertise. After the apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery, as well as a Level 3 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles. You will also achieve Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English.
