Religious Studies

UPDATED 20161108 09:40:05

What should I do? How should I act? What is valuable about life? What is right? What exists? Religious Studies will help you to explore these essential questions from various religious and non-religious perspectives. Religious Studies will enable you to answer some of life’s most fascinating questions, whilst delving into thought provoking topics and philosophical ideas that make up and shape the religious traditions in British society. Religious Studies is an inclusive subject, designed for people of any faith and people who have no faith. This course will encourage you to: develop your interest in a study of religion and its relation to the wider world; adopt an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of ethics and reflect on and develop their own values, opinions and attitudes.
