As consumers we are affected by businesses in many ways. In addition many of us will work for businesses in the future. This course aims to develop an understanding of the world of work through a vocational approach. It is equivalent to one A-Level and is graded by a Pass, Merit, Distinction and a Distinction *.
Name: Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Business Qualification title: Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Business Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment The assessment of internally assessed units maybe via generating evidence though a range of different activities including assignment work, case studies, workplace assessment, role play and oral presentation. The assessment of unit 2 is under supervised conditions, where learners are provided with a case study 2 weeks prior to a supervised assessment period of 3 hours in total. The assessment of unit 3 is via a written exam of 2 hours in length. Section A contains questions on personal finance and section 2 contains questions on business finance.
