Maths is available as core modules with either statistics or mechanics. Where the courses differ is that there are 2 modules dealing with exploring how statistics are used to analyse data, make predictions and test hypothesis, whereas on the Mechanics course students learn about the mathematical modelling used to analyse certain physical situations such as objects balancing, colliding and moving.
