A2 Unit 3: Exploration of dramatic performance Students will be devising an original piece around a given stimulus. Through a series of practical workshops and experiencing a professional piece of live theatre, students will be exploring the work and style of theatre practitioners. A2 Unit 4: Theatre text in context Students will explore a text from a director’s perspective. Students will present ideas through essays. As a group the students will create, design and rehearse an interpretation of a published play. A period of theatre history will be explored and the play will be viewed in a variety of periods.
