Media is a popular area of study and one key aim of the qualifications is to give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of employment opportunities, job requirements, and working practices in the Media industry. The way the qualification is structured will enable you to start building the technical skills and knowledge that is relevant in different sectors of the Media industry, for example, in Television and Film. BTEC Media students taking the Subsidiary Diploma will study a mixture of 7 different mandatory and optional units ranging from paper based pre production and research assignments to hands on production and post production assignments.
