In virtually all areas of science, industry and commerce, Mathematics plays a key role. During your A Level course you'll probe deeper into Mathematical concepts such as algebra and statistics. Studying this Maths course sets you up for Higher Education and a great career. Studying A Level Maths teaches you how to think logically. Employers in many areas value this skill very highly. Maths is fun, interesting and challenging and also highly rewarding, encouraging you to break down big problems into smaller parts and thinking these through logically to find an overall solution. At A Level you will study Core Mathematics - Algebra, Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry and Vectors. You will also be introduced to Calculus - Differentiation and Integration. You will also study two Options - applied units chosen from Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Mathematics.
