Economics A level has a real world focus and reflects today’s global economy. You will gain an understanding of how consumers make choices and how entrepreneurs create desirable products, how markets operate, how markets fail and what can be done to correct that failure. You will explore how firms can become more competitive and how they are affected by influences from the international and economic environment in which they operate. You will study how the government makes decisions about how to improve the functioning of markets and the economy.
