Ideal if: you would like to operate plant vehicles on construction sites You'll need: to be currently employed or have an employer willing to take you on, and attend an informal interview to assess your interest in the course You'll learn: how to operate a variety of equipment including excavators, forklifts, dumpers and road rollers Expect: to complete theory and practical tests on four different types of construction plant You'll love: learning the skills necessary to gain the Construction Plant Competence Certificate (CPCS) operator's card You'll go onto: employment, or an apprenticeship such as our level 3 Construction Plant Operations In order to complete this apprenticeship you must be employed in a role where you are operating construction plant machinery, eg. excavators, forklifts, tractors, road rollers, dumpers, loading shovels. You will attend college one day per week.
