UPDATED 20151009 13:15:35

In AS Film the focus is on learning new skills and a new film vocabulary. Key skills of microanalysis are vital for the examination and the coursework, as well as creative skills or the final piece of coursework; it is also essential that he student develops a wider understanding of the film industry, its methods of production and the power of the audience. At A2, the depth of knowledge established at AS is deepened through familiarity with common critical approaches and wider understanding of social and historical contextual issues.
