Introduction to volunteering

Over 2 sessions, learners will be introduced to the benefits of volunteering, how to become a volunteer, key skills and attituteds needed and current opportunities.  Individuals will meet with representatives from a number of organisations who train and manage volunteers, in addition to visiting local projects in the community to view firsthand the difference made by volunteers.
