What will I do on this course? You will go out in the field as part of this course so that you can experience geography firsthand. This helps our students get higher grades in their exams. The course includes: World at risk - natural hazards and climate change Going global - economic change, population and migration Geographical investigations - crowded coasts and rebranding places Contested planet - management of water and energy resources, threats to biodiversity, superpowers and bridging the development gap, and the technological fix Geographical research - choose from topics including: tectonic hazards, cold environments, life on the margins, cultural diversity, pollution and health risks and leisure in rural areas A choice of research topics.
