A-level Geography

UPDATED 20151006 19:34:56

Geography is a popular and successful subject. Students study both physical and human geography and will learn in a variety of ways, such as using maps, data analysis, photos, videos, GIS skills and independent research. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and understanding in a practical way through fieldwork. This has included trips to Blencathra to study rivers, Easedale to investigate the effects of glaciation in the Lake District and the Cumbrian coastline to study sand dune ecosystems.
