At Beckfoot we study the new Edexcel Specification that will be first examined in 2018. The course looks at contemporary geography and the role that different stakeholders play in key geographical decisions. We look at a range of issues in both the human and physical side of the course. We will be conducting a fieldwork investigation that is assessed by coursework which will involve a fieldtrip.

Paper 3 - Players, Action and Futures (20% of the A Level) - 2 hours 15 minutes This is a compulsory paper which is synoptic in nature. This will be assessed through the core topics of tectonics, globalisation, water cycles, carbon cycles and superpowers Coursework (Independent Investigation) (20% of the A Level) A requirement of the course is the 4 days fieldwork.
