The Entry Level 3 Award Users aims to: • Meet the needs of candidates who work, or want to work, with computers and have little or no experience with IT • Allow candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills to gain confidence that will help them return to learning, or may be required for employment and/or career progression where IT use will be needed. • Contribute to the knowledge and understanding towards the related qualification supporting progression to the next level. By the end of the course the learner will be able to: IT Fundamentals (Getting started using computers) There are four learning outcomes to this unit. The learner will be able to: 1. Connect to the internet 2. Use browser software to navigate web pages 3. Use browser tools to search for information from the internet and the world-wide web or an intranet 4.
