What will I learn on this course? At AS you will study 'Pathogens and Disease' and 'Variety of Living Organisms'. Investigative skills are assessed within the examinations on these two modules. At A Level you will study 'Populations and Ecosystems' and 'Control in Cells and Organisms'. You will learn to use statistical analysis to evaluate results of practicals. You will develop many transferrable skills such as analysis and forming evidence based conclusions. The specification also covers current methods in DNA analysis, Gene Therapy and Biotechnology.
