This qualification can be completed over one year as a Double option or two years as a Single option. It is a vocational course allowing students to explore areas of personal interest and possible career opportunities. Students study units of work totalling 60 credits relating to health and social care: Developing effective communication; Equality, diversity and rights; Health, safety and security; Public health; Exploring personal and professional development; Caring for children and young people. Students also complete at least two work placements.
