History

UPDATED 20161003 08:22:10

The first part of this A Level studies how the two leading western democracies responded and adapted to the challenges brought about by the greater political, social and economic expectations of ordinary people in the twentieth century. Pupils will then go onto to study how society persecuted minority members of communities throughout the early modern period. They will address why the witch craze took place and why it was allowed to happen. Lastly pupils will independently research a choice of a variety of topics whereby they form a critical view and make a judgement based on their findings.
