The use and application of Music Technology is the fastest growing area within the music industry. Many universities now offer highly respected degree courses in sound recording, studio practice, music computing or courses linked to the above areas. This A Level is beneficial for anyone intending to become involved in the popular music industry, and complements interests in music, the theatre, ICT and technology. A thorough working knowledge of all the equipment on the course is essential, so students are encouraged to spend as much time as possible using the facilities.
