GCSE in Psychology

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour; including how people think and interact with others. The GCSE course includes two units which are studied over a year. The first unit involves learning about social biological and developmental psychology. The second unit involves learning about cognitive psychology what makes us unique and how to conduct psychological research. Psychology requires you to do some reading written work and evaluation. You will be planning and doing your own research so you need to be keen to get involved in practical tasks too!
