A Level Law

Law is an integral part of our everyday life. AS Law provides an introduction to law and the English legal system. You will study a diverse range of topics from the people behind the law such as; solicitors barristers judges and juries to the powers of the Police to stop search and arrest individuals. The course is delivered using a variety of teaching and learning methods including mock trials moots and role plays. In the second year you will study Criminal Law which includes looking at a number of criminal offences such as murder manslaughter and assaults as well as related offences.
