This course is an excellent introduction into working in health social care and early years services. Throughout the course you will develop the knowledge skills and understanding required by workers in these services. Additionally you will learn how employees should conduct themselves and how this will benefit patients and service users. It is expected that you will complete two work experience placements in different settings for which you will need an Enhanced DBS disclosure (Franklin College will cover the cost of this). This course will enable you to develop self confidence spoken and written communication teamwork and time management skills. Some of the topics you will study are; forms of communication individual rights and needs anatomy and physiology and health and safety.
