You will further develop your ability to write for specific purposes and audiences to read for pleasure and information. You will also develop your speaking and listening skills. In GCSE English Language you will study one collection of poetry or a play undertake a spoken language study and learn to write creatively. You will learn how to work independently and write well-structured answers in timed conditions. You will work on your examination technique learn how to read exam questions in the right way and develop the confidence to approach your exam in a positive way.
