What will I study? This is for you if you are interested in learning more about engineering. This is a general engineering course which will allow you to follow many pathways in engineering. This course will help you if you are undecided which engineering pathway to follow. You will study: - Technical communications - Mathematics - Electrical and electronic principles and projects - Independent projects - Mechanics - Design and materials On this course you will: - Develop your research skills - Advance your technical knowledge - Design and create your own solutions to everyday engineering problems - Develop your mathematical skills - Complete a project on a related topic of your choice You will be assessed internally by assignments, projects and coursework. You will also carry out in-class assignments to test specific skills and knowledge, and your practical work will be observed. Westminster Kingsway College has a very successful team of experienced engineering teachers and the College has helped many students to follow their engineering dreams. The College has also hosted the Big Bang Science and Engineering Fair for London. On completion of the course, you will be able to choose from a number of options, including going to university to study engineering in many different pathways. You could also seek employment as a technician, trainee manager or junior engineer.
