The purpose of this one day programme is to equip practising or potential middle managers with a strong set of coaching skills: - The behaviours, characteristics, skills, attitudes and values required of a coach and-or mentor. - Effective listening, questioning and feedback skills. - A range of coaching tools and techniques. - The personal and organisational barriers to coaching and mentoring in the workplace and how to minimise or overcome them. - The planning and preparation for a coaching and-or mentoring session, including the role of contracting -Assessing own skills, abilities and performance as coaches and-or mentors
