New course for September This course is for highly motivated students who want to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become a competent ICT user. This qualification is more practical than a traditional A Level and the skills acquired will support your further study in any subject area. You must be able to work independently and to meet deadlines. This course is assessed through projects, assignments and practical exams. Most units are assessed by the College and moderated by the awarding body. Both the AS and A2 are assessed by means of coursework and exam. AS Applied ICT King's Cross Centre 1 year - Year 1 Level 3 What will I study? In the first year of this course on the AS single award, you will study: - The information age - The digital worker - The knowledge worker - Using database software - Using spreadsheet software - Web development A2 Applied ICT King's Cross Centre 1 year - Year 2 Level 3 What will I study? In the second year of this course on the two year double award, you will study: - Managing ICT projects - Using multimedia software - System design and installation - Technical support - Web management - Web development - Communication and networks
