Level 3 AS GCE Religious Studies

UPDATED 20151015 11:39:15

Philosophy is the study of meaning, and of the principles underlying how humans behave, think and make sense out of the world around them. The skills it hones are the ability to analyse, to question assumed truths and to express things clearly. Philosophy offers an insight into some of the greatest ideas in human history, and will allow you to develop the ability to formulate questions and follow arguments at a complex level. Ultimately, studying Philosophy will provide you with highly transferable thinking and writing skills, useful in a range of degrees and professions, and highly valued by universities.
