Studying maths you will build upon knowledge from your GCSE. The C1 and C2 modules introduce topics such as quadratics and polynomials, sequences and series as well as integration and differentiation which C2 takes further. There is work on further trigonometry logs and exponentials ,etc. You will develop your mathematical skills to identify and analyse problems, understand and apply knowledge. At AS you will also study either a statistics option or a mechanics option (S1/M1), depending on timetable organisation and whether or not you take Physics at AS Level.
