This is a one year course that provides you with the opportunity to explore an idea or hobby that really interests you. It is equivalent to an AS Level and will teach you skills that are valued by employers and universities. This course is for you if you are self-motivated and enjoy working independently - whether in a practical way, like designing or performing, or researching, investigating and writing. There are four types of Project to choose from: 1. Write a dissertation 2. Produce an artefact such as a sculpture, model or DVD 3. Develop and showcase a performance (sport, drama or music) 4. Conduct an investigation/field study.
