A Level Biology

UPDATED 20151111 11:03:10

Biology is the study of life, from the molecular level learning about how the three thousand million bases that make up DNA are sequenced to whole ecosystems and the ways in which plants, animals, and microorganisms interact within them. Biologists carry out vital work in many different areas, including cell biologists trying to use stem cells to treat cardiovascular disease, ecologists working to protect biodiversity in the Galapagos Islands, and neuroscientists trying to work out if a gene mutation could lead to the development of schizophrenia. The A Level Biology course is designed to give you a real understanding of modern Biology.
