Advanced GCE in Religious Studies : Philosophy and Ethics

The aim of the course if to develop a questioning attitude and to raise awareness of the role of ethics in modern society. Philosophy of Religiion focuses on the traditional argument for the existence of God and challenge in religious belief. Ethics is about moral choices. Students will consider in detail Moral Relativism, Natural Law, Categorical Imperativism and Utilitarianism.
