English Literature is perfect for those of you who want to develop your interest in and enjoyment of literature and literary study through reading widely and independently, both set texts and others that you select for themselves. The course will encourage you to engage creatively with a range of texts across the 3 main literary genres: Prose, Poetry and Drama. The A Level course will include three additional units to extend your skills knowledge and understanding of Literature, you will enhance your techniques of analysis, evaluation and comparison of literary texts in the context of a wider range of cultural and literary significance.
