Who is the course for: The Team Programme is for enthusiastic 16-25 year olds who would like to develop their confidence and personal skills. Broaden their experience and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Course Content: The programme offers participants the opportunity to build confidence and gain new skills in a supportive, informal environment. Participants will be engaged in: Team building residential trip Community Project; contributing to the local community Work Placement Team Challenge Caring for others Practical & Creative workshops Team Presentation You will gain: Prince's Trust Level 1 Certificate In Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills (QCF) Learners produce a portfolio of evidence that is presented to claim the qualification. Learners will cover topics like: Community Project Teamwork Presentation Skills Work experience Career Planning Planning for progression Supporting others Study Methods: Learners keep a diary of the activities they participate in a portfolio. At the end of the programme, this is presented as evidence for the qualification How is the course assessed: Portfolios are assessed throughout the course of the programme. Internal and external verification occurs on completion. Where next - Further Studies: Better preparation for college courses, guidance and support in making the next step. Where next - Job Opportunities: Better preparation for entry into the job market. Increasing learners confidence and developing practical strategies to help you find employment.
