BTEC Health and Social Care offers a thorough approach to studies of Health and Social Care and provides much of the knowledge included in the NHS Knowledge and Skills framework. You will study units then present a range of evidence based on actual work and studies. The course provides knowledge of the Health and Social Care sector and allows you to either progress straight into employment in areas such as care work or health care assistants or progress further into higher education and study nursing, social work or childhood and professional practice studies at University. The National Diploma is the equivalent of two A Levels and comprises of 8 units of which 6 are mandatory and 2 are optional.
