This vocational qualification will help level 3 students develop the practical knowledge, skills and understanding they need to prepare for their chosen career. Units offered include public health, sociological and psychological perspectives, caring for children and young people, and safeguarding adults and promoting independence. Students have progressed into university placements especially in nursing, mental health care and education. This course is assessed by coursework only.
