GCE Photography

UPDATED 20161011 08:02:25

Key Work This exciting A level begins with an AS qualification, which comprises of two components, a coursework portfolio and an exam project. Each component is worth 50% of the total marks. Work for this course consists of sketchbook work, research, camera use, studio use, darkroom use, photoshop digital image editing and image presentation. Is this the course for me? This course is for those students who have a genuine interest in photography and the visual arts. No prior knowledge of photography is needed to study this course but you will need an artistic eye and a creative mind. You do not need a GCSE in art and design to study photography, but this would be an advantage. We would like all students starting the course to have 5GCSE’s grade A*-C including maths and english.
