The study of a foreign language is both profitable and enjoyable for a number of reasons. Quite apart from the advantage a candidate seeking employment gains from being able to offer a foreign language, there is the pleasure which comes from contact with, and understanding of, another people and their culture, allowing linguists to enjoy their leisure activities more fully. Course availability is dependant on a minimum number of students applying.
