Law (TORT) A2

UPDATED 20150930 14:55:08

You will develop knowledge and understanding of legal principles and learn how to analyse legal material, issues and situations. You will also develop the ability to present a logical and coherent argument and solve complex legal problems by citing relevant legal sources, including statutory materials and case law. You will also develop strong legal reasoning skills. All students will be expected to develop a wider interest in the law by undertaking additional reading and research and by visiting the courts. Specialists from within the legal profession will give talks. Some places are available on a student mentoring scheme with either solicitors or law undergraduates. This will give an insight into the working environment of the legal profession. At A2 we offer Criminal Law and the Law of Torts.
